The safe and reliable transport of any abnormal cargo from all over Europe, using an extensive range of modern, well maintained vehicles and a fleet of low height flat, step-frames and low-loaders trailers. The company was founded on the movement of agricultural machinery and that continues to this day, as well as a variety of other cargos from the world of manufacturing and the steel, oil and energy production industries. Management

We have an experienced management team, who will take control of your transport requirements, and ensure that all the necessary paperwork, permits, customs entries and authorisations are in place to make your delivery as seamless as possible. Maintenance

Our fleet of Scania and DAF tractor units are inspected and maintained at our in-house workshop, run by a creative team of mechanics. We stock a large number of parts for routine maintenance for our tractor units as well as trailers built by Nooteboom, Broshuis and Royen. We have an in-house fabricator who designs and builds all our specialised fuel tanks and locker systems, under the banner of Elmswell Truck Centre…

Our Story

The business was started in the early sixties by Hugh Wilson and his wife Marion, making a name for themselves moving agricultural produce and eventually machinery around Suffolk, then the UK before expanding into Europe. They started off with hay and straw from the local farms, increasing the fleet when spotted a gap in the market to move the Combines and Tractors, eventually being one of the first to import brand new machinery from factories in France and Germany. Handing over the business to son’s Graham and Simon, the manufacturing, steel and oil industries were new markets to be investigated and explored. The company continued to grow from its base in Suffolk, venturing to all corners of Europe. Nowadays the big red trucks with a white ‘W’ are now synonymous throughout Europe…
